Jean Orlowski is the founder of ECropOrigin and owner of Hala Tree Coffee. Jean comes from a 20+ year career as an information technology executive. In 2012, he decided to pursue a new challenge, and launched his 100% Organic Kona Coffee Brand, Hala Tree with his wife Danielle. Jean's experience as a business leader, gave him a unique lens to evaluate his farming process. After a quick napkin sketch, some creative thinking and a touch of tech know-how, ECropOrigin was born. Jean's goal is to put efficiency in the hands of farm owners everywhere. He is excited for what the future holds for ECropOrigin and it's impact on the agriculture industry.
Co-founder and COO of ECropOrigin, Mike is a front Office Executive with 30+ years of experience in the financial services industry. Client oriented and results driven, with a proven track record of building profitable businesses throughout his career. Mike received an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and lives with his wife Susie in Skillman NJ.
Joseph Ruyombo is an agronomist specialized in coffee with 8 years of successful experience in training, empowering coffee farmers in good agronomic practices, coffee farming as a family business, gender mainstreaming financial literacy and health and safety at the farm level in Uganda.
Joseph experience and expertise includes purchasing and procurement, sourcing and analyzing, supplier selection, supply market intelligence, buyer-seller negotiations, contract development, execution procurement contracts, measuring supplier performance and development, organization of procurement and commercial law and purchasing ethics. Joseph is strong believer in the power of positive thinking and regularly develops internal wellness campaigns to assist coffee farmers to increase yield and reduce costs.”
Christelle Graham is a Marketing Specialist for ECropOrigin. She has been in the marketing industry for 10+ years, having worked in a number of settings. She got her start in the entertainment industry, working with a large radio broadcasting company. She then shifted her focus to helping small businesses establish their brand and engage their customers. She is also a mother to two children and lives with her family in Washington state.
